WSOP 2009 on ESPN

The 2009 WSOP isn’t even over yet as the final table is still almost four months away, but the WSOP action is already returning on TV. Once again ESPN is the channel you need to watch to catch all the WSOP action on TV. This year they are showing fewer events on TV but on the good side the events they are showing are guaranteed to be interesting and they will show more footage from them.

The first event to air is the $40,000 no limit holdem tournament which was played to honor the WSOP 40th birthday. You can watch it starting from the 28th of July.

ESPN shows also the champions invitational to which all the WSOP main event champions were invited to, Ante Up For Africa charity even which featured to poker pros and celebrities, and obviously the main event. it is pssibly that they will also show excerpts from other events – most likely from the ones that Phil Ivey won.
