1) Play with the pros
Yeah sure, I’m just about to deposit $100,000 from my weekly allowance so I can play (and lose) against Phil Ivey in $500/$1000. OK you can play in the normal people’s games against some Göbels Tröbels from Germany who has once finished 3rd in a local poker tournament for 300€. It is a whole different story who actually wants to play against mr (or mrs? who even knows about the crazy Germans..) Göbels Tröbels.
2) Chat with the pros
If you cant afford to play $500/$1000 it is nearly impossible to chat with someone you might actually want to chat with. Oh right they have the pro chat thing… the problem is that it seems like the pros don’t actually want to share anything meaningful.
3) Learn with the pros
I guess this is bit better with the FTP academy now, but seriously, it feels like that the only way to actually learn anything is to lose money to them and then see how you lost to them. “Oh he called with 93o and after flopping a bottom pair called my shove” I guess that’s what I need to do.
4) The pros
Pretty much every second rate player now has a sponsorship deal to appear as a Full Tilt pro. Full Tilt should learn that quality is often better than quantity!
