St1ckman and RaiseOnce playing huge poker game

St1ckman who is one of the best Russian online poker players (according to many sources he also plays under the screen name Neo81 at Full tilt Poker and is possible the biggest fixed limit holdem winner over there). Many of the poker pros who play the limit holdem games over at PokerStars regard St1ckman as being one of the toughest opponents they have ever encounter – some have even speculated (either jokingly or seriously) that he might be a so called super-user or cheater.

Well there is no evidence of him being either so it is likely that he is just extremely good in poker.

After a short break from the $1000/$2000 Pokerstars limit holdem games St1ckman appears to now have made his return to them. Today he was playing against two interesting players: otterkopf (you can find more information about him from here) from Amsterdam and RaiseOnce from Las Vegas.

RaiseOnce is another regular in the big games who is so feared by other players that most of the he ends up sitting for hours in the tables and waiting someone to challenge him. The real name of RaiseOnce is a mystery but because his location is listed as Las Vegas he is most likely a tough Las Vegas live poker pro – some have speculated that he might be Todd Brunson but there is evidence about that at the moment.

The today’s match between these three players appeared to be pretty even, when we stopped following the game RaiseOnce was up around $30,000 which is obviously loads of money, but after all it is same as being up $15 in a$0.5/$1 limit holdem game.
