Propaganda Poker and iPoker network have decided to go their separate ways. The exact reasons behind the move are unclear but it is most likely associated with the fact that in iPoker network’s opinion Propaganda Poker sent too many winning players to their site. The network which Propaganda Poker is going to join is still bit of a mystery, but as always we here at EuroPokerPro are ready to pitch in our guesses.
Poker sites they will never merge with:
First of all they are not going to merge with any of the following: PokerStars, FullTiltPoker, PartyPoker or EverestPoker this is simply because of these sites are stand alone ones and have no interest in merging with a much smaller poker room.
Likely candidates:
Merge Gaming: Network that it is trying hard to gain some market share. They already have a somewhat decent player pool and thus from PropagandaPoker’s point of view they might think that at least some of their players will continue playing in this network.
Entraction network: The world’s fastest growing poker network. They have a pretty good player pool and decent presence in the European market. Thus Propaganda most likely wouldn’t mind joining the Entarction network. And 12 months ago this would have been by far the most likely candidate. However Entraction seems to have tightened up their rules when it comes to taking new sites to their network (in the past they took lot of sites just so that they could gain market share). Entraction also recently announced they are shutting down the cardroom2 service thus it seems likely they are much more concerned about the overall health of the network rather than about losing a few players.
Cake poker: This USA friendly network is home of the many sites that were unwanted in other networks, for an example Stryyke poker found it’s home at the Cake poker network after they were kicked out from the Ongame network.
Unlikely but possible candidates:
Boss media: Boss media recently introduced same type of (stupid) rules that iPoker has and that got Propaganda Poker in troubles. It is very hard to see them joining Boss Media.
Ongame: bwin online bookmaker owns and controls the Ongame poker network. They have recently been closing down sites in this network and pushing some of the sites out, it is hard to see that they would want Propaganda Poker to join in.
Microgaming: Many of the Microgaming sites have shut down lately and at least in theory they are against the type of promotions that Propaganda likes to run. Also Unibet and Ladbrokes are such an important partners to Microgaming that if they don’t want new site to join the network the new site wont join the network.
Everleaf gaming: Tiny network that is putting lot of energy and money in luring in new players and sites. They might become a serious player in the future but given that they currently have on average only 150 real money players playing on their site it is hard to see propagandapoker joining them.
