After very long day the field at the 2010 World Series of Poker main event has finally been narrowed down to the last 9 players, and this also means that the play now goes on break until November.
Here are percentage estimation for each of the 9 remaining players to win the WSOP bracelet. The estimation are based on estimated skill level, past performances and on other factors such as the ability to play well under the pressure:
Name Home country Current chip count Estimation
Jonathan Duhamel CANADA – 65,975,000 23%
John Dolan USA 46,250,000 19%
Joseph Cheong USA – 23,525,000 13%
John Racener USA – 19,050,000 9%
Matthew Jarvis CANADA – 16,700,000 8%
Filippo Candio ITALY – 16,400,000 7%
Michael Mizrachi aka. the grinder USA – 14,450,000 13%
Soi Nguyen USA – 9,650,000 4%
Jason Senti USA -7,625,000 4%
Comment: Out of the final table players Michael Mizrachi, also known as ”the grinder”, has the most experience with situation that could in anyway be compared to WSOP ME final table. He has also excellent track record for being able to “seal the deal”. For those reasons we give him bigger chances then several players that have bigger stack than he does. If the WSOP final table would be played tomorrow his estimation would be even higher as he has at the moment excellent momentum thanks to his great results earlier in this year’s WSOP (the most notable one obviously being winning the bracelet in the $50,000 event).
