No European Winner in HORSE WSOP

The marathon final table of the $50,000 HORSE World Series of Poker is still running. However unfortunately among the last two players there are no Europeans.

Finnish Ville Wahlbeck who started the final table as the short stack managed to win couple big pots, but in the end he had to settle for the 6th place and $219,000.

Russian Vitaly Lunkin who has had an amazing run in the 2009 WSOP had in the beginning of the final table 2nd biggest chip stack, but in the end it didn’t help him to do the job. Vitaly Lunkin finished 4th and takes home to Russia $368,000.

Swedish Erik Sagström was the chipleader at the beginning of the final table, and at times it looked like he would end up winning the whole tournament. However, unfortunately this time around the luck wasn’t on his side. Erik finished 3rd in the tournament for $522,000 payday.
