Yes, Jeff Lisandro is on fire. The 2009 World Series of Poker isn’t yet even close an end, but Jeff Lisandro has already won two bracelets during the 2009 WSOP. Two bracelet would surely make anyone else (with Phil Ivey being the one possible exception) full. But tonight Jeff is going after the third in $2,500 razz tournament. There is only 13 players left in the tournament and Lisandro has currently a sizable chiplead with 438,000 chips Steve Diano who is in the second place has 302,000 chips.
If Jeff manages to win the bracelet he joins the extremely selected group of poker players who have managed to score the “hattrick”
The other interesting name still left in this tournament is Finnish Ville Wahlbeck. Ville has had an amazing run in this year’s WSOP having already finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd. This time around Ville Wahlbeck will need some luck as he is currently sitting with the smallest stack.
Chip counts for the final day of the $2,500 razz event:
Jeff Lisandro 438,000
Steve Diano 302,000
Don Zewin 300,000
