There has been lot of speculation around the internet about his real name, as we have been monitoring the huge online poker games for years we felt like throwing in our guesses.
1) Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom used to play under the nickname Blom90 at the iPoker network. He supposedly won over million dollars in just a couple weeks after starting with a $2,000 deposit. There have also been rumors that he is Zebul_ON at the Entraction network. Lot of things point to Isildur1 being Viktor Blom, for an example the style, the results and the way they chat have lot of similarities.
2) Rob Flink
Rob Flink is another young Swedish high stakes online poker player who majority of the American players haven’t even heard about. This is because he has been concentrating on killing the games with his super loose-aggressive style at the European poker networks such as BossMedia.
3) “Unknown Swede”
Because of the tax situation majority of the Swedish poker players have been staying away from FullTiltPoker in the past. For that reason there are lot of tough Swedish poker pros who majority of the poker world are completely unaware of. Also because of the tax situation it is unlikely that Isildur1 actually eve reveal his real name.
4) “known player confusing opponents”
Even though Isildur1 has his location listed as Sweden it is important to note that at FTP players can choose their location themselves. Thus it might very well be the case that he isn’t actually from Sweden and is only using it as his location to confuse the opponents. There has been some speculation that Isildur1 might actually be LarsLuzak however because even the Finnish players don’t seem to know to know who Isildur1 it is unlikely that it is LarsLuzak, however it could be some other well known high stakes player playing under the new nickname. FTP has at least in the past allowed some of the best known players to have several accounts at their site.
