Female Poker Players In The Amazing Race

According to the rumors two somewhat well known female poker players are competing in the new season of the popular reality TV-show Amazing Race. In the Amazing Race bunch of two-person teams travel around the world with small budget with their goal being not to be last in any destination that they are supposed to go to. This is because most of the time the team to reach the destination last will be knocked out of the race. The team to reach the final destination first will win $1million.

The new season of Amazing Race began shooting a few days ago and according to the reports female poker players Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle are competing in the race as a team. Both of them have a one decent poker tournament score: Maria Ho finished 38th in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event and won $237,000, one year later Tiffany Michelle was 17th in the WSOP ME and won $334,000.

The new season of Amazing Race will air in September.

Mario Ho and Tiffany Michelle are not the first poker players to compete in a reality TV-show. Annie Duke participated in the celebrity apprentice and Jean-Robert Bellande was a contestant in the Survivor: China show.
