EMOP (also known with the amazingly long real name, European Masters of Poker) is one of the latest poker tournament circuits which has actually managed to become successful. At the end of March (when the EMOP tournament takes place) the daily average temperature is around  15+ °C the main tourist attractions of Lisbon include mostly architecture and monuments such as the Discoveries monument.

Information about EMOP Lisbon event and Casino Estoril: The tournament is played at the Casino Estoril which is some 25 kilometres from the centre of Lisbon. The minimum age to the casino is 18 years and besides poker you can obviously find lot of other casino games from the casino. The EMOP Lisbon main event has a buyin of 1,000€ + 100€ there are also supposed to be several side events which will be announced closer to the tournament.
