| Best European poker players still in WSOP ME 2010 |
|
It feels like the 2010 World Series of Poker began just yesterday, but somehow we are already down to the last 3 tables and last 27 players in the main event. Luckily for us European poker fans there is also still a decent number of European poker players left in the field. This is even though the chipleader coming in to the day 7, Danish Theo Jorgensen got unfortunately knocked out yesterday. The two best known European still left in the field are Swedish William Thorson and Norweigian Johnny Lodden. Both of these guys are known as excellent old school online poker players and have also had decent success in the live poke tournaments. However the European still left in the tournament who is in the best position is Italian Filippo Candio, prior to this tournament Filippo hasn’t managed to score any massive scores from live poker tournament but now he is already guaranteed to take home at least $317,000 from this event. And given that he is currently 9th he might end up winning whole lot more money. As you probably known the WSOP ME will go on couple months break after they have played it down to final 9 players. The action will then return in November. This final table played in November is often referred to as the “November Nine”. The number one prize in 2010 World Series of Poker main event is slightly less than $9million. So it is also November nine in that way too – at least for the winner. |
